On any given day you might find Amy Huntley book-hopping between children's and 19th Century British literature, or between a great young adult novel and an adult spy thriller. She is a high school English teacher, which allows her to read a hundred or more books a year while claiming she's just figuring out how to "put the right book in the right student's hands." Over the years she's become as passionate about writing for young adults as she is about reading. She is grateful to her students for their insights on teen life.

She currently lives in Mid-Michigan. She enjoys playing the piano, hanging out with friends, attending the theater and spending time with her daughter.
