Biography
Since 1998, Gene Hult has had more than 40 novels, novelizations, and non-fiction books published for children and young adults, 32 of which were published under the pseudonym J. E. Bright. He is a full-time freelance writer.
Gene's main genre interests are fantasy, science fiction, action-adventure, and romance. He is comfortable with all age ranges and formats, including picture books, novelty books, storybooks, ready-to-read books, early chapter books, middle-grade, and YA.
Gene lives in SoHo, New York, with his good, fat cat Gladys, and his evil cat Mabel, who is getting fatter.
